Adults

Adult Bible Study
On Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:00 a.m., adults meet in the Upper Room of the Parish Life Center. This group is led by Rev. Erin and usually studies the Gospel for the upcoming Sunday.  If you want to study scripture with others of the Christian faith who seek understanding and deepened discipleship, come and join us! There’s a lot of laughter and a ton of questions. We keep seeking together.

Adult Christian Education
Each Sunday morning (except when a schedule change is posted), adults meet in the Parlor of the Parish Life Center from 10:15-11:00 a.m. This group, led by Rev. Erin, discusses topics that are central to faith in the 21st century. Bring your coffee and snacks from the Assembly Room coffee hour and join us for a time of learning, reflection, and renewal. Education for Ministry (Efm)
Education for Ministry (EfM) is a unique four-year distance learning certificate program in theological education based upon small-group study and practice. “EfM helps the faithful encounter the breadth and depth of the Christian tradition and bring it into conversation with their experiences of the world as they study, worship, and engage in theological reflection together.” Year 1 explores the Old Testament, Year 2 focuses on the New Testament, Year 3 is an in-depth look at the history of the Church, and Year 4 is philosophy and theology. St. Alban’s EfM meets on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in the Parlor of the Parish Life Center and meets September through May. Want to deepen your faith and build meaningful relationships? Join us! You can learn more about the EfM program here.
