Hospitality

We strive to be intentional with our hospitality at St. Alban’s. This means that a welcome is just the beginning!
Bread Bakers
The Bread Ministry is a group of individuals who bake homemade bread for our visitors. On their first visit, our guests get a reusable bag with the St. Alban’s logo, a folder filled with information about the parish, and a loaf of bread. We hope that during the week, our guests get a taste of God’s goodness.
Coffee Hosts
Each Sunday morning we gather after worship for coffee, lemonade/tea/water, and light snacks in the Assembly Room of the Parish Life Center. Coffee hour is a great time to catch up with another (and meet new folks!) and Coffee Hosts make it happen! Coffee Hosts provide the food, brew the coffee, and help create a space that is welcoming and hospitable.
Greeters
Greeters are trained hospitality specialists! We want each guest to feel welcomed and strive to do this with smiling faces, knowledge of the facilities and services, and a gift to take with them. Greeters also get contact information from the newcomers to share with parish staff so they can extend a welcome and invitation to further conversation.
